You will perform preventive maintenance, set up changeovers, diagnose failures, and rebuild equipment while keeping detailed maintenance records. Strong safety and self-directed work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience maintaining automated industrial equipment or equivalent training.
• Understanding of electrical and electronics controls.
• Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
• Ability to work self-directed and in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Safety shoes required on the first day.
• Good hygiene and a clean workspace.
• Strong work and safety record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on all process and related equipment.
• Set up and carry out changeovers for process machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery failures.
• Provide technical assistance to production teams.
• Rebuild equipment and components regularly.
• Modify equipment to improve performance and reliability.
• Engage in training programs to improve personal technical skills.
• Operate machinery, tools, vehicles, and computers for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with team members to repair and maintain equipment efficiently.
• Purchase and maintain tools required for the job.
• Ensure the workspace, shop, and toolbox are clean and sanitary.
• Perform additional tasks as required by supervisors.
