Job summary

McKee Foods, a longtime maker of Little Debbie and Drake’s Cakes, seeks a Process Mechanic – Multi-Skilled at Plant 5 in Collegedale, TN. You will maintain production equipment, perform setups and changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, fabrication and plumbing tasks.

Work includes GMPs and food-safety practices, MAXIMO CMMS documentation, collaboration with production teams, and potential overtime or alternate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with GMPs and food safety requirements is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setups and changeovers for production lines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures in a multi-skilled environment.
• Maintain records in MAXIMO CMMS and communicate downtime status.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability of production processes.
