Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Dyersburg, TN seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our shift-based maintenance team. You will repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support safety, quality, and productivity goals by reducing downtime and improving reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on machines, reading prints and schematics, welding, and supporting installation and start-up of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be a committed team worker with a keen sense of responsibility and excellent attention to detail.
• 2 Yrs. Technical School or Associates Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment-related problems as part of the shift Maintenance Team.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime.
• Assist installation and start-up of new equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Document repairs on work orders in the MMS.
