Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Chestnut Grove. You will perform general building maintenance, including preventative tasks, minor repairs, and work orders under supervision.

You will diagnose issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and more, with responsibility for preparing units for move-in and coordinating with vendors as needed. HVAC certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to five years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident units and common areas, including carpentry, painting and general repairs.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in with cleaning, painting and carpet cleaning.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure and appliances; obtain bids for contractor work when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep logs/records.
