Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced maintenance person for commercial and residential properties in Asheville, NC. The role requires multi-skilled abilities across carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, with responsibilities across both indoor and outdoor areas.

You will complete work orders, prepare vacant units, maintain grounds and common areas, and contribute to cost-saving through repairs instead of replacements, while delivering reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining commercial and residential buildings.
• Proficient in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to read work orders and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders and routine upkeep.
• Complete "make-ready" tasks for vacant units (painting, plumbing checks, locks, fixtures).
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect high quality.
• Fix parts when possible to reduce costs and avoid waste.
• Provide responsive customer service and safety compliance.
