Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join the Titanium Technologies team at the DeLisle site. You will maintain and repair pumps, valves, gear boxes, and related equipment, perform pipefitting and structural tasks, and support safety and reliability goals on a 4-10 schedule.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of industrial experience, and proficiency in at least two core skills such as millwright, pipefitter, welder, or machinist.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to join site emergency response crew.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates mobile equipment such as fork trucks, manlifts, scissors lifts, and farm tractors.
• Performs basic machine operations (drill press, band saw, hydraulic press) and precision measurements.
• Performs welding operations (oxyacetylene cutting, SMAW).
• Performs basic structural work (build platforms, ladders).
• Maintains buildings, rails, piping, and related equipment.
