Job summary

Penske Logistics in Groveport, OH is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to promptly and safely repair and maintain a broad set of building systems. You will install, troubleshoot, and service plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and related equipment, while handling preventative maintenance tasks and working within the Maintenance Work Order system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facilities/general maintenance experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs on basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, documents, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs.
• Participate in Safety Committee meetings, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
• Conduct maintenance service through the use of the Maintenance Work Order system in a timely, orderly, and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, dock door hardware, and all related building components.
• Support operations department by providing suggestions and developing solutions as needed.
• Be a point of contact during off shift hours for facilities issues.
• Performs work in a wide variety of conditions, such as heat, cold, and moisture.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
