Job summary

GEM Facility Management is seeking a Facility Maintenance associate to service the Central Ohio region. The role involves basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs under a manager, requiring good communication and a willingness to learn.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of maintenance experience, plus 2 years painting experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of applicable maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years painting experience with wall surface repair, prep and paint.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.
• Two-year technical degree may substitute one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from property manager/customer.
• Perform general building/property maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform general building inspections and safety checks.
• Travel to other facilities and vendors as required.
• Support Property Manager as required.
• Follow processes and procedures.
