Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Maintenance professional to support store operations through preventive maintenance and specialist tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical trades.

The role includes supervising others, coordinating with service contractors, and ensuring energy conservation and waste management programs align with corporate standards. A hands-on, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or 1-2 year vocational training.
• Broad mechanical ability and experience in maintenance fields.
• Willing to oversee the work of others.
• Experience in various building trades and safety-conscious.
• Good customer service attitude and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical repair: lamp changes and fixture work, diagnostics.
• Performs plumbing repair and diagnostic support for fixtures and pumps.
• Maintains HVAC basics and general building systems.
• Performs mechanical repairs on equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Repairs the building interior and exterior; painting and carpentry.
• Conducts periodic tune-ups to support energy and waste programs.
• Oversees contractors and maintains tools and equipment.
• Performs a range of maintenance tasks and supports store operations.
• All other duties as assigned.
