Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local team in Goldsboro, NC. You will perform routine maintenance to keep facilities safe, functional, and presentable, under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include repairing facilities, inspecting equipment, and responding to emergencies while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines. Strong multi-trade skills and reliable driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to move at heights as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR and ability to pass screening.
• Trade certification or 2+ years in plumbing, electrical, or related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and inspections.
• Operate safely and complete required training for tools and equipment.
