Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local store team in Greenville, NC. The role covers maintenance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures, following established schedules and safety practices.

You will work under the General Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained Walmart stores. Responsibilities include routine inspections, repairs, and coordinating with stores.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification is required.
• 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Use the work order system to manage reactive repair work orders for Stores and Store associates and document repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
