Job summary

Walmart in Mebane, NC is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry and material handling skills. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, performing inspections, repairs, and safety-focused tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
• Valid Driver's License
• CDL eligibility may be required (Commercial Driver's License)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) with hand and power tools
• Use work order system to receive and document repair Work Orders
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely
