Job summary

FirstService Residential in New Jersey seeks a Maintenance Tech to perform repair and maintenance tasks for common areas, condominium buildings, and the recreation center. Tasks include carpentry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, and snow removal, with reporting of malfunctions and keeping work logs.

Responsibilities include inspections, inventory management, emergency responsiveness, and coordination to ensure resident safety and facility integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Two years of experience in building maintenance and repair work.
• Able to read and understand blueprints or plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular status updates to the General Manager.
• Monitor and maintain inventory daily; submit requests as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs of common areas and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with responders to ensure safety.
• Complete inspections and prepare status reports.
