Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and prior maintenance experience required.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
• Electrical troubleshooting and plumbing proficiency required.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and improve operating condition, quality and integrity of building systems and appearances.
• Unit turnover; painting, carpentry, plumbing, major appliance repair and electrical work.
• On-call hours required and assist in training janitorial or new personnel.
• Conduct maintenance inspections including security, alarm and fire systems.
• Process work orders timely and inspect subcontractor work for quality.
• Snow and ice removal and lawn-care; report issues to manager.
• Technicians are essential personnel for snow removal and emergencies.
