Job summary

Lefrak Organization Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and maintain a clean, safe property.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, groundskeeping, and general housekeeping tasks to support residents and keep common areas in top condition. The role requires reading and following work orders, multi-trade skills, on-call availability, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must have 3 years’ experience in general building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Repair, replace or install plumbing fixtures and appliances as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and lighting.
• Repair drywall, plaster and perform minor painting tasks.
• Maintain grounds, perform cleaning and housekeeping in common areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and schedule work effectively.
• Document work performed and keep records of parts and purchases.
• Be on-call for emergencies, including nights and weekends.
