Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a part-time Multi Site Security Officer in Springfield, IL. This role focuses on delivering professional security services, de-escalation, and top-notch customer care while upholding core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.

Applicants will undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks. A valid Illinois driver license and ability to work on site are required, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for Illinois PERC Security Officer License.
• High School Diploma or GED required or willing to complete GED within six months.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and vigilance.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/appropriate judgment and escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record (driver certification).
• Reliable cell phone.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English.
• Reliable transportation (public transport not available).

Multi Site Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Springfield, IL

Wage: $18.50/HR

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

• Have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
