Job summary

Global Evangelism, Inc. seeks a Security Services Director to lead a multi-site security program across church, school, residential, and event settings. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership to protect people, facilities, and assets.

You will shape security strategy, supervise operations, and develop staff while coordinating with facilities, IT, and executive leadership to ensure readiness and responsible risk management across the ministry.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible security management or related experience.
• At least three years of leading personnel in multi-site security operations.
• Experience developing security programs, standards, training, incident metrics, and corrective actions.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours to respond to ministry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site security program protecting employees, students, ministry leaders, volunteers, guests, facilities, and assets.
• Develop security strategies, operating standards, and long-range priorities, turning assessments into actionable plans.
• Lead daily security operations through supervisors and designated security leaders, ensuring staffing, post coverage, access control, and incident response.
• Lead emergency preparedness and crisis management across ministry locations, including plans, drills, and coordination with public safety.
• Provide leadership for school safety including emergency operations, visitor management, and threat assessment.
• Plan and oversee security operations for worship services, conferences, and large gatherings.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop security personnel with clear expectations and accountability.
• Strengthen security operations through training, inspections, and corrective-action tracking.
• Oversee security technology, budgets, and long-range investments with Facilities, IT, and leadership.
• Provide executive leadership with clear reporting on risks, staffing, incidents, and readiness.
