Job summary

S2 is seeking a Property Manager in Phoenix to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction across our communities. You will lead Leasing Agents, monitor performance, and collaborate with Maintenance to ensure quality turns.

The role requires at least 2 years of property management experience, strong communication, and knowledge of Fair Housing and applicable laws. You will report to leadership and help shape market strategies while upholding S2 values.

• Strategically direct and mentor a team of professionals
• Solve problems for residents and team members
• Lead Leasing Agents and ensure performance goals are met
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure work orders and turns meet S2 standards
• Increase occupancy and maintain high resident retention
• Develop and execute strategies for challenging markets
• Approve and monitor budget expenditures for maximum ROI
• Report key business risks and opportunities to the executive team
• Host resident engagement events
• Represent S2 and advocate for its Core Values

Requirements

• 2+ years of Property Manager experience
• Consistently detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to listen and understand goals
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Complete understanding of Fair Housing and knowledge of applicable property management laws, including Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Landlord Tenant Law, and OSHA Standards
• Knowledge of ResMan is a plus
• Valid driver license and auto liability insurance required
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year
• Ability to climb up to four flights of stairs
• Ability to walk several acres to tour the community
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
