Job summary

Mark-Taylor, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) at San Artes and San Bellara in Scottsdale, AZ. You will help keep grounds and interiors clean while delivering exceptional resident service at one of our beautiful communities.

This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and maintaining curb appeal. Prior groundskeeping or porter experience is preferred; housing discounts and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to interact positively with residents.
• Groundskeeping/porter experience preferred.
• Basic written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots, and buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds and vacant units before make-ready.
• Complete opening/closing duties, including property walks and landscaping checks.
• Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of pools, tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways and grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks including power washing and light exterior painting.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work cohesively as a part of a team.
• Ability to interact positively and courteously with team members and residents.
• Prior experience working as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related position is especially desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pool(s), tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs etc.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
