Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Scottsdale is seeking a Multi-Site Manager of Facilities and Service (Maintenance Supervisor) to lead a team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians and Housekeepers, and to oversee hands-on maintenance across communities.

You will diagnose problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, manage make-ready and turn processes, schedule contractors, ensure safety and quality, and mentor staff while delivering five-star resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Maintenance Manager/Supervisor in multifamily.
• Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances and OSHA standards.
• EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar certifications.
• Service orientation and strong English communication.
• Three or more years of experience as Maintenance Technician or similar roles.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians and Housekeepers.
• Oversee hands-on maintenance to protect and enhance community value.
• Inspect and diagnose HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry and structural issues.
• Manage Make-Ready and Turn Board inventories to support leasing.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and address them.
• Share on-call rotation and respond after hours when required.
• Complete Weekly Service Reports and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in training and mentor staff.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, inspections, inventories and logs.

Compensation:

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $35.00-$37.00/hour.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications.***

Requirements

• 1-year minimum working as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor required for multifamily.
• Advanced knowledge in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
• One or more industry specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Three or more years' experience working as a Maintenance Technician, Apartment Turn Technician, Service Technician, Make-Ready Technician, or Work Order Technician.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will:

• Serve as the leader for the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee and execute the hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Perform consistent inspections, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Manage the daily inventory of apartment homes in order to support leasing efforts, including managing the Make-Ready, Turn Board.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazards.
• Share rotating on-call duty with service team members and readily available to go the property after hours if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Complete Weekly Service Report in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Mark-Taylor safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in training classes.
• Train and mentor Service Technician and Facilities Technicians.
• Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, inventories, pool chemical logs, make-ready and turn units.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive rapport with all residents and team members.
• Capital project oversight, bidding, and execution.
