Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a capable operations manager to oversee daily activities of a multi-location physician practice. You will supervise front and back office functions, hire/train staff, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.

You will also assist with budgeting and monitor revenue-cycle metrics and patient volumes. Collaborating with physicians and leadership, you will ensure regulatory compliance, monitor patient satisfaction, and drive quality improvement across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• CPPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and implements approved disciplinary action. Interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget in conjunction with the director and manages key financial metrics including staffing hours, resource allocation, and expense budgets.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports, identifies variances from standard, and addresses patient complaints.
• Ensures quality and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing deficiencies.
