Virtua Health in South Jersey is seeking a Phlebotomy Department Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance from pre-analytical to post-analytical testing. You will lead staff, monitor performance KPIs, manage budgeting, and communicate across departments to support laboratory services and patient care.

The role requires 5 years in phlebotomy and 3-5 years of supervisory experience; associates degree required, bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of phlebotomy experience
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience required
• Strong knowledge of laboratory technology and phlebotomy
• Excellent interpersonal and budgeting/statistical skills

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for phlebotomy across multiple locations
• Ensure compliance with current standards and regulatory codes through documentation and audits
• Manage staff development and monitor KPIs across locations using Virtua Star Behaviors and competency programs
• Communicate technical and organizational information across departments
• Design and evaluate multidisciplinary performance improvement programs using the Virtua toolkit
