Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Lab Supervisor for the Mount Holly location. You will supervise the daily operations of the Laboratory Collecting and Receiving department, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality specimen handling.

You will guide staff, manage workflow, and support administrative tasks to keep the department running smoothly. The role requires at least two years in phlebotomy and 1–3 years of supervisory experience, along with excellent communication and customer service

Qualifications

• Two years’ phlebotomy experience required.
• 1–3 years of lead/supervisory experience required.
• Outstanding oral communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Laboratory Collecting and Receiving.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for specimen collection.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and workflow; train and coach staff.
• Communicate clinical instructions to ensure specimen integrity.
• Perform clerical functions as required.
