Job summary

Boston Medical Center Health System seeks a Floating Pharmacy Manager to provide operational and management support across its Boston-based Retail Pharmacy and Community Health Center locations. You will oversee workflow, staffing, regulatory compliance, and staff development while partnering with pharmacy leadership to ensure consistent practices and coverage.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Retail and CHC Pharmacy and requires a Pharmacy degree with at least 2 years of pharmacist

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

Provides direct management and operational support across BMC Retail and Community Health Center pharmacy operations.
Manages workflow, staffing, and adherence to processes and protocols.
Reviews operational results and implements changes to meet goals.
Oversees pharmacist staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping.
Ensures schedules are posted and coverage is adequate across locations.
Monitors controlled substance policies and conducts follow-up investigations as needed.
Supports staff training and development across outpatient and CHC teams.
Maintains professional competency through continuing education.
