M&M Recycling, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a hands-on Non-Ferrous Operations Manager to lead our multi-location non-ferrous operations, with the flagship site in Locust Grove.

You should know scrap metal, run a profitable yard, and enjoy developing people alongside the team. Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee yard managers and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations from purchasing through shipping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations management in scrap metal or similar.
• 2+ years overseeing multiple locations with on-site managers.
• Strong knowledge of non-ferrous metals, grading, and processing.
• Track record of inventory accuracy and performance improvement.
• Experience training staff and enforcing safety and environmental regs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily non-ferrous purchasing, grading, and shipping across yards.
• Coordinate material flow and inter-yard transfers with trading and transportation.
• Ensure processing meets specifications and is shipped on schedule.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive productivity and profitability.
• Maintain yard safety, compliance, and clean, organized facilities.
