Job summary

Excelligence Learning Corporation seeks a Network Engineer responsible for designing, administering, and securing the company’s multi-site network infrastructure. You will own architecture decisions, firewall policies, and WAN circuit management across locations.

You’ll work with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routing/switching, and Meraki wireless to ensure reliability, performance, and security. The role demands proactive problem solving, strong communication, and partnership with site teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, multi-site network engineering experience.
• Direct experience administering Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama preferred, and threat prevention.
• Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches; routing protocols BGP/OSPF.
• Hands-on with Cisco Meraki wireless, AP deployment and management.
• Ownership of WAN circuit procurement, SLAs, and vendor escalations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS network requirements and audits.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP/AD integration across sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple sites (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN).
• Administer Palo Alto next-gen firewalls, security policies, NAT, and firmware lifecycle.
• Configure Cisco routers/switches; manage routing protocols and VLANs.
• Manage Cisco Meraki wireless deployments, RF planning, and policy enforcement.
• Own WAN circuits, contracts, and vendor relationships; manage SLAs and renewals.
• Maintain high network uptime; monitor health and implement corrective actions.
• Design and enforce network security controls and VPN architecture; zero-trust concepts.
• Support PCI DSS network compliance; assist with audits and quarterly scans.
