Job summary

Windward Risk Managers is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to own and improve our on-premises and Azure networking, firewall, and storage connectivity. You will manage Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, UCS X-Series Fabric Interconnects, NetApp ONTAP, and Palo Alto security across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation, change control, and on-call rotation. Strong PAN-OS, BGP/OSPF, and Azure networking experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong TCP/IP fundamentals and subnetting knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise-class routers and switches.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewalls and VPN expertise.
• Azure networking experience in hub-and-spoke designs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor enterprise LAN, WAN, and UniFi wireless infrastructure across sites.
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS) including policy, NAT, and VPN.
• Design and support Microsoft Azure networking (VNets, peering, NSGs).
• Configure routing and switching across Cisco Catalyst and Nexus.
