Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites. Responsibilities include configuring Cisco routers/switches, wireless infrastructure, and security appliances to ensure reliability and security of business applications.

You will manage IP addressing, DNS, VPN tunnels, and multi-server environments, while collaborating with IT personnel on circuit installations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6 years of experience in support and maintenance of network equipment and distribution systems.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent certifications required; advanced certs preferred.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, BGP/EIGRP.
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and Cisco IOS/Nexus OS.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto VPN and Firewalls for security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise network design and security standards.
• Configure Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and phones; implement VPNs and security appliances.
• Support multi-site network operations and complex routing/switching environments.
• Lead network design and wireless seating for open or secured access and voice/video support.
• Document work activities and project progress for installations and upgrades.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to objectives.
