Job summary

NXT Property Management in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support Lux Apartments and Broadway Apartments. This role keeps living spaces comfortable, safe, and well-maintained across rotating properties.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, able to handle requests quickly, perform preventative maintenance, and communicate clearly with residents and team.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who values doing things right the first time.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

• Comfortable using basic computer programs.

• Experience with electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, or drywall is a plus.
• Experience in apartment maintenance or multifamily housing preferred.

You will be based out of our Lux Apartments community and assist at Broadway Apartments. We're searching for a motivated professional who's ready to deliver great service and keep our communities in top shape.

Pay Range: $20+ per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll help create comfortable, safe, and well-maintained living spaces for our residents. You'll rotate between properties, keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

• Handling daily maintenance requests and repairs in apartments and shared areas
• Turning vacant units quickly and effectively
• Performing preventative maintenance and general upkeep
  • Patching and painting
• Maintaining grounds and community curb appeal
• Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance concerns promptly
