Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties seeks a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to service multiple communities in Indianapolis. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, address repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and help prepare homes for new residents while keeping detailed records.

Applicants should have at least 1+ year in multifamily maintenance, EPA/HVAC certification preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills to support on-site teams and

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing.
• EPA/HVAC certification is desired; CAMT or CPO certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-focused communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized while supporting multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks across multiple properties in a central region.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and building components.
• Service property equipment such as HVAC, generators, and landscaping tools.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and document all work and parts used.
• Manage inventories of tools, supplies, and spare parts; coordinate requests with onsite teams.
• Maintain a safe working environment following OSHA and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed; weekend work may be required.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community and apartment homes.
