Job summary

Ampla Health is seeking a Maintenance Worker to uphold facility conditions across Chico and other sites. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs to ensure safe, accessible clinics. A strong maintenance background and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities include routine upkeep, inventory management, and coordination of parts. You will travel between Ampla Health locations, perform preventative tasks, and support site teams with timely solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years of general building maintenance experience required.
• Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and equipment, including drills, saws, nail guns, ladders, and other hand/power tools.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance, repair, and remodeling.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, management, patients, and vendors.
• Reliable transportation and necessary tools to perform maintenance duties.
• Ability to travel between Ampla Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance at all Ampla Health locations.
• Maintain HVAC filter schedules and report equipment deficiencies.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment concerns.
• Perform repairs involving floors, toilets, roofs, stucco, concrete, painting, doors, windows, locks, and other building components.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical work, framing, drywall, doors, windows, ceilings, baseboards, and cabinets.
• Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment and coordinate orders as needed.
• Assist with moving office furniture, parking lot maintenance, landscaping, and other facility needs.
• Maintain safe and clean work environments and monitor facility conditions.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Travel to various Ampla Health locations as needed.
