Job summary

PBS Facility Service is seeking a Concierge & Front Desk Operations Manager to supervise multiple luxury residential properties in the tri-state area, including Brooklyn, NY. You will lead doorman and concierge teams, ensure service excellence, and uphold PBS standards.

The role demands hands-on leadership, coaching and accountability, with responsibility for scheduling, training, safety and client satisfaction across sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a supervisory/management role in hospitality, building services or residential property management.
• Experience in union environments (Local 32BJ preferred).
• Owns a vehicle and has a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate doorman and concierge staff across properties; conduct site visits and coaching.
• Create biweekly schedules; manage attendance, missed punches, and emergency coverage.
• Train new hires on PBS service standards and SOPs; ensure professional image and policy adherence.
• Build relationships with property managers, supers, and residents; address complaints promptly.
• Review daily shift reports, incidents, and CCTV; document and escalate as needed.
• Enforce Local 32BJ contract requirements, safety, security, and confidentiality standards.
• Use scheduling and HR platforms for attendance audits and reporting; maintain records.
• Conduct building walkthroughs for lobby presentation and guest interaction; provide feedback.
