Job summary

Tellus Equipment Solutions is seeking a Corporate Logistics Manager in Katy, TX to develop, implement, and manage logistics and transportation strategies across the dealership network.

The role oversees the movement of equipment, parts, and materials between dealership locations, manufacturers, vendors, and customers while ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5–10 years of progressive logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations management experience.
• Experience with multi-site operations and team leadership.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, heavy equipment, or dealership operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation management, inventory control, supply chain principles, and DOT/fleet compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Intellidealer) and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate logistics strategies for all dealership locations.
• Manage transportation operations for new and used equipment, attachments, parts, and service deliveries.
• Coordinate movement of equipment between dealerships, customer sites, auctions, and John Deere facilities.
• Optimize routing, scheduling, and load planning to reduce costs.
• Establish logistics KPIs and monitor performance.
• Negotiate contracts with third-party transportation providers.
• Ensure DOT compliance and transportation safety standards.
• Lead safety culture and coach team members.
