Job summary

PopStroke is seeking an IT leader to manage and deploy technology across our venues and corporate locations in Plano/Dallas, TX, with up to 20% travel. You’ll oversee IT strategy, tooling, network design, security, and vendor relationships, supporting rapid growth and exceptional guest experiences.

You will coordinate across departments, lead projects, and ensure reliable IT services, from Microsoft 365 to cloud VOIP, while maintaining compliance and a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace in an enterprise.
• Configure Okta and integrate SSO across apps.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Windows and Mac via Kandji, NinjaOne, and similar.
• Design and test highly available networks with failover across multiple ISPs.
• Configure Cloud VOIP services and handsets.
• Manage VLANS, WiFi configs, and IP schemes for venues.
• Familiar with Ubiquiti and large-scale wireless deployments.
• Knowledge of IT compliance, risk management, and data privacy.
• Experience maintaining hardware (servers, storage, networking).
• Familiar with endpoint security, SIEM, and threat protection.
• Configure ITSM tools like JIRA Service Manager.
• Experience negotiating with external vendors and service providers.
• Strong communication, detail orientation; able to work independently or in a team.
• Thrives in fast-paced multi-site rollouts with travel.
• Ability to test, troubleshoot, and document equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own IT strategy and execution for all venues and corporate locations.
• Manage IT tools/services including Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack.
• Lead IT initiatives aligning infra with business goals.
• Deploy and manage RMM, MDM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Oversee procurement of computers and hardware.
• Run help desk operations and automate workflows across systems.
• Implement real-time monitoring and alerting for critical infra.
• Assist design and management of complex multi-site networks.
• Support on-site installations and occasional travel for validation.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base for tech systems.
• Source primary and backup internet (fiber, coaxial, cellular).
