Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking an Inventory Manager for the greater Hartford, CT area. A well-established wholesaler in the building materials industry will rely on your leadership to optimize inventory and fleet operations across multiple sites.

You will oversee aging and high-value stock, drive working capital improvements, and ensure ERP controls are robust across locations. Travel between sites will be required to align operations and logistics strategy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in logistics, warehouse, inventory, or fleet operations within the construction materials, industrial equipment, or building materials industries.
• Lead inventory strategy across a multi-site distribution network.
• Manage aged, excess, and high-value inventory while improving working capital, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring accurate ERP controls across multiple locations.
• Oversee a commercial delivery fleet.
• Familiarity with specialized material-handling equipment, and willingness to travel between locations.
