Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP is seeking an experienced Materials Manager in Whippany, NJ to lead production planning, material coordination, inventory management, and scheduling. This role ensures material availability and smooth production flow to meet customer delivery commitments and operational goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in production planning or materials management within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in production planning, materials management, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience with end-to-end product planning including procurement, fabrication, and shipping.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, scheduling, inventory control, and material requirements planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans aligned with customer requirements and capacity.
• Analyze requirements and optimize MRP planning parameters.
• Create efficient production schedules across multiple product lines.
• Adjust schedules for changes in orders, priorities, or deliveries.
• Release planned orders to support on-time production execution.
