Job summary

Frontier Direct Care is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to bridge company goals with daily clinic realities across Rio Grande Valley locations in Brownsville, Weslaco, and Edinburg. You will lead clinic operations, supervise APPs and MAs, and partner with Medical Directors to drive performance and patient care.

The role requires hands-on, on-site leadership, scheduling and HR collaboration, and a focus on ROI, population health, and care coordination across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, practice/clinic management, and/or a similar leadership role.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Experience with day-to-day clinic operational tasks: inventory management, license/credentialing tracking, patient relations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational bridge between company goals and daily clinic reality.
• Manage daily clinic operations and clinic team (APPs and MAs).
• Lead hiring, training, scheduling, and day-to-day performance for APPs and MAs.
• Coordinate with Medical Directors on team development and clinical skills.
• Partner with HR to define hiring needs and retention strategies.
• Drive ROI and population health initiatives in clinic operations.
• Ensure clinic standards, inventory, licensing, and patient relations are maintained.
