Job summary

Frontier Direct, LLC is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to oversee clinic operations across multiple Rio Grande Valley locations, including Weslaco, Brownsville, and Edinburg. You will supervise APPs and MAs and ensure daily functions align with company goals.

You will hire/train staff, manage scheduling, and partner with Medical Directors and HR to drive performance and patient experience. On-site leadership and travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare operations, practice/clinic management, or a similar leadership role
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Experience managing clinical or clinical-support staff (e.g., APPs, MAs, or nurses) in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Track record of driving operational metrics such as clinic coverage, patient throughput, and/or utilization
• Comfortable working on-site daily and providing in-person leadership
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with ability to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
• Experience collaborating with Medical Directors, HR, and company leadership
• Experience with day-to-day clinic operations: inventory management, licensing/credentialing tracking, patient relations
• Proficiency with scheduling, EHR, or practice-management software
• Ability to travel between clinic locations within the assigned market

Responsibilities

• Direct reports include APPs and MAs; oversee hiring/training and scheduling
• Manage daily clinic operations and ensure alignment with company goals
• Lead APPs and MAs and coordinate with Medical Directors on clinical skills and development
• Collaborate with HR to define hiring needs and retention strategies
• Coordinate clinic operations with leadership and drive ROI and population health initiatives
• Ensure clinic standards, inventory, licensing, and patient relations are maintained
