Job summary

Red Tail Residential is seeking a skilled Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities across Countryside, Hinsdale, and Clarendon, IL. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs, ensuring safe, high-quality living spaces for residents and staff.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in maintenance, basic proficiency in two trades, and EPA Universal and CPO certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
