Job summary

Athena Medical Management LLC's Women’s Imaging Specialists are seeking a hands-on Facilities Engineer / Maintenance Specialist to keep 22 breast imaging centers in GA and AL safe, functional, and patient-ready.

Based in Metro Atlanta, you will travel 60–70% between sites, handle plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC coordination, perform PM checks, coordinate contractors, and ensure centers look presentable and welcoming for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on facilities maintenance in a multi-site environment.
• Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and minor repairs.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and willingness to travel 60–70%.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, work on roofs and in tight spaces.
• Smartphone proficiency and basic computer skills to update requests.

Responsibilities

• Address non-medical facility issues: plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall touch-ups, and door hardware.
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and coordinate with licensed vendors; ensure completion.
• Complete monthly/quarterly PM checks for all sites and document results.
• Own the maintenance request queue; prioritize, update status, and close tickets within SLA.
• Source, schedule, and oversee external vendors; verify insurance and QA of work.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies; keep storage organized and stocked.
