Job summary

Transformation House is seeking a facilities manager to oversee the safety, reliability, and cost-effective operation of facilities, grounds, vehicles, and maintenance resources across residential and non-residential sites.

The role plans and prioritizes work, supervises maintenance staff, coordinates contractors, and maintains records and budgets while supporting on-call responses for urgent facility needs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in multi-site facilities maintenance.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff.
• Knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations across assigned sites; establish priorities and service standards.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff; assist in hiring decisions.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment to identify hazards and deficiencies.
• Perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC/boiler observation tasks within licensure boundaries.
• Develop scopes of work, obtain quotes, coordinate vendors, and ensure satisfactory completion before payment.
• Administer the work-order system; document requests, labor, materials, and completion status.
