Job summary

CGL is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise maintenance staff across multiple sites, ensuring repair, maintenance, and installation of building MEP equipment and life safety systems. The role includes staffing, prioritizing work orders, and enforcing safety policies.

Expect collaboration with site management to meet client objectives. Qualified candidates will have 1 year in facility management or related correctional facilities, 5 years in skilled maintenance, and 3 years in supervision,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance, skilled trades, or related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees, including hiring, firing, and performance management; onboarding and training.
• Reviews job requests and work orders to set workload priorities.
• Oversees maintenance of MEP systems and life safety equipment to ensure operations.
• Performs routine facility inspections for safety and compliance.
• Implements policies to improve operations and minimize costs.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Provides staff training and orientation to improve performance and safety.
• Keeps supervisor informed on progress of work orders and staffing.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and collaborates with site management.
