Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Multi-Facility Maintenance Specialist to oversee maintenance across multiple locations in the assigned territory. You will manage building systems, safety compliance, and vendor coordination to ensure operations run smoothly.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities management, plus CMMS proficiency and cross-functional collaboration. Travel within territory is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive facilities or maintenance experience in retail, manufacturing, distribution, or commercial environments.
• Experience working across multiple facilities or locations preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, OSHA requirements; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with CMMS (Corrigo, FMX) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across multiple locations.
• Ensure reliability of lighting, emergency power, security, and life-safety systems.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and address safety hazards and improvements.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, equipment specs, and repair histories.
• Monitor and manage facility equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions promptly.
• Support vendor performance management and assist with MSAs and contracts.
