Job summary

Layton Construction seeks an experienced Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) Leader to implement corporate, field, and office ESH policies across multiple project sites in the United States. You will lead safety programs, drive compliance with CCIP and other risk initiatives, and provide regulatory guidance to project teams.

The role demands 5+ years of ESH experience, strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA/EPA regulations, and ACC/ICRA/CHST/ASP/CSP preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field.
• 5+ years of ESH experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• CCIP experience preferred; CHST/ASP/CSP/ICRA preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching skills; team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and reinforce safety culture with Layton and subcontractor employees across multiple U.S. project sites.
• Oversee safety programs on all assigned projects, including CCIP and other risk management initiatives.
• Provide regulatory and policy review, interpretation, and technical guidance.
• Monitor workers’ compensation issues on assigned projects.
• Conduct incident review meetings with project teams and subcontractors to reinforce accident prevention.
• Oversee monthly audit program to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
