Job summary

Steffes in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Production Planner to manage the short-term production plan, ensuring material readiness and capacity alignment with demand across assigned sites. You will monitor ERP planning queues, release and prioritize jobs, and collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to improve schedule stability.

Qualifications

• Requires attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute ERP planning suggestions.
• Release and maintain production jobs per planning priorities.
• Identify and resolve material shortages within planning rules.
• Monitor adherence to the production plan and flag risks or constraints.
• Create and maintain Kanban signals for material flow.
• Communicate schedule risks and conflicts to stakeholders.
• Coordinate across sites when shared resources or intercompany needs arise.
• Follow standardized planning processes across all sites.

Education

Certificate or Associates Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business Preferred

High School Diploma or GED
