Job summary

Rohrer Corporation in Ohio seeks an EH&S Manager to lead the Environmental Health & Safety Management System, develop and implement policies, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations across all Rohrer locations. This role reports to Corporate Quality & Compliance Manager and partners with executives to reduce injuries, improve safety culture, and drive measurable EHS performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 7+ years in progressive EHS leadership within manufacturing.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities or a multi-site org.
• Proven track record of implementing EHS management systems.
• Experience reducing injuries and improving safety culture.
• Experience conducting EHS audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and related regs.
• Experience presenting metrics to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review and standardize EH&S processes with Plant Management.
• Create policy and procedure documents and communicate changes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Stay current on regulatory policies to minimize liability.
• Lead safety program to achieve OSHA STAR, VPP, or similar recognition.
• Develop, audit, and report EH&S programs across Rohrer locations.
• Drive safety, housekeeping and quality as a condition of employment.
