Job summary

Right At School is a leading for-profit education enrichment company offering before and after-school programs nationwide. As an Area Manager in Reno, NV, you will oversee multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs, ensuring operations, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability across sites.

You will liaison with program managers, educators, parents, and school staff, manage HR functions and licensing compliance, and drive growth and program excellence in your footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a multi-unit manager (5+ sites).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Direct P&L experience.
• Knowledge of child care licensing regulations preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to pass background checks including MVR.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Ability to drive to schools within assigned footprint.

Responsibilities

• Oversees implementation of curriculum and ensures high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement.
• Maintains direct profit & loss responsibility for assigned programs.
• Markets Right At School programs and seeks opportunities to promote at school/community events; drives internal growth across locations.
• Ensures sites meet state-specific licensing requirements.
• Implements effective standardized operating procedures to drive program quality.
• Develops positive relationships with school administration, PTA, outside vendors, and staff.
• Manages HR functions including scheduling, hiring and disciplinary actions, and staff development.
