Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Area Manager to oversee in-school enrichment and childcare programs in the San Jose, CA area. You will manage program operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability across multiple sites, serving as the liaison with program managers, educators, parents, and school partners.

This role requires at least 3 years of multi-unit management (5+ sites) and direct P&L experience. A fast-paced, growing environment and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a multi-site manager (5+ sites).
• Direct P&L experience.
• Knowledge of child care licensing preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the implementation of curriculum and ensures high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement in all aspects of program operations.
• Maintains direct profit & loss responsibility for assigned programs.
• Markets Right At School programs — seeking opportunities to promote at school and community events.
• Ensures sites meet state-specific licensing requirements.
• Implements standardized operating procedures to drive program quality.
• Develops positive relationships with school administration, parent organizations, and staff.
