Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management (FMM) seeks a Commercial Maintenance Technician to service multiple locations, performing preventive maintenance, repairs and coordinating with contractors. The role requires hands-on work across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills while ensuring safety and reliability of building systems.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems knowledge.
• Ability to manage preventive maintenance and small repairs across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Experience with safety and life safety systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive maintenance and minor repairs to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct periodic general preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Respond to safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental requests via personal contact and work orders.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Coordinate approvals for work orders requiring outside contractors.
• Ensure safety and continuous operation of building occupants.
• Follow operating procedures and keep organized files.
