Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Texas is seeking a Groundskeeping Lead to oversee landscape maintenance across multiple commercial properties and company locations. This hands-on role ensures curb appeal, safety, irrigation, and appearance meet company standards.

You will supervise crews, schedule work, coordinate with vendors, and support budget and safety initiatives while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; horticulture training preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, turf maintenance, and landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee landscape maintenance across multiple properties.
• Inspect sites to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Develop maintenance schedules for mowing, irrigation, fertilization, weed control.
• Monitor irrigation systems and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Coordinate seasonal projects including plant rotations and tree trimming.
• Supervise crews and contractors; provide coaching and training.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain records per OSHA guidelines.
